    • Πώς είναι ο καιρός σήμερα; (Pós íne o kerós símera?)
  • What’s the temperature?

    • Ποια είναι η θερμοκρασία; (Pia íne i thermokrasía?)

Describing the Weather:

  • It’s sunny.

    • Έχει ήλιο. (Éhi ílio.)
  • It’s raining.

    • Βρέχει. (Vréhi.)
  • It’s cold outside.

    • Κάνει κρύο έξω. (Káni krío éxo.)
  • It’s very windy today.

    • Έχει πολύ αέρα σήμερα. (Éhi polí aéras símera.)

 

4. Common Nature Phrases

  • I love the sea.

    • Αγαπώ τη θάλασσα. (Agapó ti thálassa.)
  • The mountains are beautiful.

    • Τα βουνά είναι όμορφα. (Ta vouná íne ómorfa.)
  • This forest is very green.

    • Αυτό το δάσος είναι πολύ πράσινο. (Aftó to dásos íne polí prásino.)

 

5. Sample Conversations

Informal:

A: Πώς είναι ο καιρός σήμερα;
(Pós íne o kerós símera? – How is the weather today?)

B: Έχει ήλιο και κάνει ζέστη.
(Éhi ílio ke káni zésti. – It’s sunny and hot.)


Formal:

A: Ποια είναι η θερμοκρασία σήμερα;
(Pia íne i thermokrasía símera? – What’s the temperature today?)

B: Είναι είκοσι βαθμοί Κελσίου.
(Íne íkosi vathmí Kelsíou. – It’s twenty degrees Celsius.)
